One of a Kind Club: Handcrafted Jewellery For Confident Women

One of a Kind Club is an independent brand that creates gorgeous handcrafted and curated feel-good jewellery which aims to boost customers confidence and bring colour into their life. 

Based in Norwich, owner and founder Carol Robinson started the company in September 2019 after feeling like she never ‘fitted in’ with her previous marketing job that she’d worked at for around 20 years. Having always made jewellery in her spare time for fun, when Carol fell pregnant for the second time, she decided it was time for a change. 

“It felt like such a gift and I started to rethink our lives. Had I really gone through all of this to have two gorgeous babies and spend long hours a week working for someone else? It was in the middle of the night when I was feeding my daughter. I was looking at her face and realized that I had to change our future. I needed the freedom to work for myself, follow a new path and get a more balanced life.” 

And so One of a Kind Club was born.  

Now, Carol offers a wide-range of handcrafted jewellery, making everything from butterly earrings and leatherette bracelets to crazy cat lady necklaces and wooden stud earrings. 

Launching week commencing 15th March, she is releasing her new jesomite ‘Vivid’ collection, which is all about pops of colour in statement pieces which bring some much needed positivity. 

“I love inspiring confidence and making jewellery. I’m following my passion but also feel that more women should have confidence. If I can make one person smile a day through the power of jewellery, I’ll be happy.” Carol said. 

Carol isn’t stopping there, however, she’d love to be able to do pop-up shops, markets and bring in even more collections for everyone to enjoy. Her main goal will always be to inspire and empower women so she’d love to bring in more female employees in the future. 

“The best way to support us is to buy some jewellery, of course, but also inspire confidence in others by being kind. Celebrate small businesses, shop small and keep independent business going. It’s been a coronacoaster of times, so we need to support our local businesses.”
