Miss Girl Friday: Organising, Cleaning and Decorating

Whether you’re a working mum, someone who’s wanting to find help for an elderly relative or just a person who needs help tackling that mile-long list that we all have filled with household chores, Miss Girl Friday is here to help, all with a smile on her face and her tool kit ready to go!

Miss Girl Friday is the brand new one-stop-shop for domestic assistance, looking to assist you with all your cleaning, re-organising and decluttering, interior decoration, dog walking, and gardening needs. She also helps with general odd jobs that you may find around the house, truly the fairy god-mother of organisation!

Miss Girl Friday came about when owner Sarah Hales decided to have a career break after spending 20 years in the insurance sector, wanting a better balance between her work and personal life.

Sarah spent plenty of time thinking over her skill set and what she enjoys doing and so Miss Girl Friday was born, Sarah said:

“Having bought and renovated a house myself, I can turn my hand to decorating and general odd jobs around the home. I have a good eye for detail and have always been known for my OCD tendencies when it comes to cleaning and organising!

“I knew from my own experience of trying to find a good cleaner and dog walker that there was a high demand for these services but it was difficult to find people to help in these areas. Following some market research, it became apparent that there was a demand for the type of services that I would like to offer and that there was no one currently doing a one-stop-shop style for this.”

Sarah helps clients all the way from Mistley, Manningtree and Brantham to the Bradfield area and her intention is to be someone who you can trust whilst providing all your household desires to make your day-to-day life that little bit easier.

If there’s a job that our lovely Miss Girl Friday can’t do herself, though the chances are very unlikely, she’ll always offer referrals of professional tradespeople who come highly recommended so that you know you’re in safe hands.

Safety is of course paramount, Miss Girl Friday always makes sure that there is a Risk Assessment made before she does a job and that her business follows Government guidelines, with a training course of how to safely continue to operate.

Miss Girl Friday told us: “I love being able to help people, provide support and assistance in whatever area individuals need. It’s very rewarding doing something productive and feeling that I am helping people in my area.”
