Meet: Purdy & Figg

Sustainable premium hand sanitiser brand Purdy & Figg is launching its first ever retail pop-up, taking place from 4 – 23rd December at 152 Aldeburgh High Street in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

Founded by two friends in their sixties; NHS nurse Purdy Rubin and horticulturalist Charlotte Figg, Purdy & Figg was born from a desire to protect the environment by reducing plastic waste and toxic chemicals found in cleaning products while bringing a touch of luxury to our everyday lives. Having run workshops designed to teach people how to create their own eco-friendly home cleaning products over the last two years, Purdy and Charlotte launched their first retail product, the hand sanitising spray, in April 2020.

The sanitising spray moisturises as well as protects, has an amazing scent, comes in lovely, recyclable green or blue glass bottles with minimal, elegant branding, is all natural and eco-friendly and won’t break the bank. Founders Charlotte and Purdy will be on site at the pop-up to answer questions from customers.

The pop-up will feature Purdy & Figg’s entire range of all natural, sustainably packaged and beautifully scented hand sanitisers, from the 20ml mini (£4.49) and original 50ml sprays (£5.99), to complete sets including the eco-friendly refills (£16.99) and individually wrapped, beautifully packed gift sets (£29.99).

Visitors can choose from Purdy & Figg’s three unique scents, Original Citrus, Wild Woody, and Charlotte’s Floral, as well as the limited edition fragrance Frankincense and Myrrh.
