Ipswich School – A Popular Choice

It’s that time of year when many children and their parents are waiting to hear about senior school decisions and weighing up which school they should move on to.

Ipswich School is always a popular choice at 11+ , 13+ and Sixth Form, which is not surprising given that it’s the top independent school in Suffolk with a burgeoning reputation for sport and music. The results speak for themselves with over 60% A*-A at A level and an enviably consistent track record at both A Level and GCSE.

But there’s so much more to an Ipswich School education than results alone. The co-curricular provision is extensive, offering choice, opportunity and progression for all. Orchestras and choirs perform throughout the region, including at the world-renowned Snape Maltings. Participation rates are notably high across sport, music and drama. There’s an ethos and expectation that all students should experience the pride in representing their school at whatever level that might be.

Community, service and an appreciation of the wider world all play a part in an Ipswich School education which sees students develop into well-rounded, considerate and confident individuals.
