GVK: Chimney Sweeps and Services

GVK, named so after owners Gordy, Vita, and their son Kai, is a trusted chimney sweeping company that was established back in 2017 in Ipswich. 

With a few years in the Industry the family-run business also now offers eco-design-ready stoves. Not only do they supply and service your stove, they also supply the fuel too.

GVK started when Gordy needed a change after working as a farm manager for many years, so he started his own business, now he wants to take it even further and become a one-stop online shop for all your solid fuel and Fireside requirements. He is also looking to start supplying Kiln-dried wood alongside the heat logs they already supply.

Gordy said: “There are a lot of chimney sweeps, but I am hoping our friendly and reliable service will retain customers year in year out and this has been proven. We are punctual, reliable and most of all we love what we do and this should impact the experience you get with GVK.” 

For now, their focus is on safety, making sure you can trust them to be in your home by always using clean, washed sheets and wearing the appropriate PPE while working. They also sanitize their equipment, themselves, and take contactless payments. 

“I love interacting with my customers and getting to know them the more times we visit. Education is the key in our industry and solving problems that a customer has makes me feel good about what I do,” Gordy said.

Alongside chimney sweeping, GVK also offers help with bird nest blockages, stove servicing and general maintenance and they supply and fit carbon monoxide alarms. GVK also offers advice and guidance required to their customers for free as part of their service. 

They are also members of The National Association Of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) and have joined the Heating Equipment and Testing Approval Scheme (HETAS) as a Hetas Approved Chimney Sweep so you can be assured you’re in safe hands.
