Elysium Beauty To Go

I’ve been a beauty therapist for over 30 years. This year has certainly been the most challenging I have encountered since opening my salon, Elysium Beauty. At the beginning of 2020 I never envisaged the business being put on hold for what now amounts to five months.

Clare of Elysium Beauty

During Lockdown #1 I was looking for ways to keep my client base engaged and enable clients to give themselves a salon style treatment at home. And so, ‘Elysium Beauty to go’ was born. I created pamper packs containing gorgeous beauty products for a facial, manicure or pedicure treat at home. They were an instant hit and with the help of social media advertising, the retail sales kept my business ticking over whilst the salon was closed.

It was wonderful to be able to welcome my clients back to Elysium Beauty in August, albeit under strict government guidelines. A new way of working was necessary and took some getting used to but it was worth it to be back in the salon, doing what I love, treating clients new and old.

Lockdown #2 was unexpected and disappointing, and once again I was required to close the salon. I’ve since been channelling my energy into the construction of a new online store. Please take a look, as there’s lots of gorgeous gift sets, beauty treats and affordable stocking fillers.

I continue to take bookings for the salon, hoping I am able to reopen in early December.

I’m offering Vanilla readers an exclusive discount. Use code ‘VANILLA10’ at the online check-out, or quote it when making a salon appointment and receive 10% off when you spend over £20 (one time only).
