Brand-New Festival Of Fostering

The National Fostering Group launches Fostering February to raise awareness for the need for thousands more foster carers in the UK and hosts a brand-new free event, the Festival of Fostering.

Fostering February is the National Fostering Group’s month-long campaign dedicated to raising awareness of the increasing need for more foster families to meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

Last year the National Fostering Group spoke to 2,360 people considering fostering during February. This year the aim is to speak to 3,000 and encourage even more people to discover the rewarding benefits of life as a foster carer and making a difference to even more vulnerable children and young people’s lives.

Making the decision to foster a child or young person is a life-changing decision and the National Fostering Group are proud to be hosting a brand-new free event, the Festival of Fostering on 20 February, where anyone is welcome to come along to the event to find out about fostering.

The day will include a range of interactive, informative and fun virtual events, where attendees will have the opportunity to find out about fostering and ask any questions they may have, connect with others, gain insight from leading experts within the sector, speak to the National Fostering Group team, take part in interactive workshops, find out about the support offered to foster carers and much more.

For more information about the range of virtual events that will be hosted from our festival stages and to reserve a place, please visit: www.festivaloffostering.co.uk
