Hang on to your hat, ladies, Anne Reeder is in town!
Anne Reeder, recent winner of the London and South East Prestige Award for Best Bespoke Headwear of 2020/21, is an incredible milliner based in Ipswich who has been creating bespoke, handcrafted hats and headwear since 2012.
In her fantastic workshops and demonstrations for clubs and organisations, Anne will teach you how to create and fashion everything from a fascinator to a felt hat and flowers using traditional and modern millinery techniques and an extensive range of fabrics that are high-quality and often from sustainable sources. Just recently, we attended one of her workshops at the Ipswich and Suffolk Club, which is also one of the many venues you can choose for a private hat party!
You can have a laugh, learn or develop some sewing skills and take whatever you make and design away with you, all while having some mouth-watering refreshments and delightful conversations!
Whatever your style or wardrobe, Anne is always on hand to give her professional and, in our cases, much-needed advice with a friendly smile and a well-trained needle. She will guide you throughout the workshop, showing how to properly cut and sew the materials, so you never feel lost or confused and, if you do (we may have fallen into this category!), Anne will take the time out to personally guide you through each stage of the process.
You’ll come out at the end feeling like a sophisticated seamstress… and perhaps a little tipsy!
Anne is also available for private events and parties, all tailored to each booking, and is even happy to show off her fabulous hats at any fashion show. You can also book in to visit her studio by appointment. Trust me, you don’t want to miss her trendsetting and elegant works- they’re a sight for sore eyes!
