Award-winning comedian is coming to Jarrold this November

Saturday 13 November 12-2pm

Jarrold are thrilled to welcome Michael McIntyre to their Norwich store to celebrate the publication of his new autobiography, A Funny Life, which follows his career from his big break at the 2006 Royal Variety Performance.

The comedian will be hosting a book signing in store on Saturday 13 November where customers will be invited to purchase their copy, meet the author and have their book signed.

In A Funny Life, Michael honestly and hilariously shares the highs and the lows of his rise to the top and desperate attempts to stay there. It’s all here, from his disastrous panel show appearances to his hit TV shows, from mistakenly thinking he’d be a good chat show host and talent judge, to finding fame and fortune beyond his wildest dreams and becoming the biggest-selling comedian in the world. Along the way he opens his man drawer, narrowly avoids disaster when his trousers fall down in front of three policemen and learns the hard way why he should always listen to his wife.

“Jarrold are excited to be moving back into events and offering customers a range of educational and inspiring experiences,” said John Adams, Jarrold Managing Director, “the signing with Michael McIntyre will present a great opportunity to pick up a personalised gift as well as meet with such a great comedian and host.”

Michael McIntyre’s spot-on observational comedy and ability to turn everyday situations into masterclasses of human exasperation have struck a chord with millions of fans, making him one of the most successful comedians in the world. He holds the record for highestselling artist at London’s The 02, the UK’s biggest arena, after twentyeight sold-out shows. Michael’s Big World Tour saw him sell over 800,000 tickets across the globe, culminating with him recording his Netflix special at the London Palladium.

The book signing is a non-ticketed event with attendees invited to the Jarrold book department from 12midday until 2pm where they can purchase their copy, have it signed and meet the author.
