Virtual Sixth Form Open Event

Woodbridge School Sixth Form is a dynamic and welcoming environment, of around 150 students, housed within its own modern, purpose-built Sixth Form Centre.

Sixth Form at Woodbridge is a friendly and lively community, one in which students form friendships that last far beyond school; many Old Woodbridgians are still the firmest of friends with their peers from School, even into their forties and well beyond!

By Sixth Form, students will be looking for something rather different from their school life. It is a given that they will want the right academic foundation to get them to the places that they need to go, but Woodbridge School aims to offer this and so much more. The university and career market place is extremely competitive, and those students, who have embraced opportunities for foreign travel, competitive sports, Combined Cadet Force, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Young Enterprise, to name but a few, tend to enjoy much greater levels of success in their applications.

Woodbridge School also recognises that, for most students – whilst the aim is to study in a place that offers top academic results and exciting extracurricular activities – one of the most important aspects of school life will be the friends that they make and the social life that they lead.

Woodbridge School has community at its very heart, which is often cited as one of the main reasons that students choose the School. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Sixth Form, where the Upper and Lower Sixth are highly integrated; this is the reason why it is such a happy place.
